This improvised recording was a telephone call recorded to a portable cassette tape recorder during the spring of 2021 in the wake of the pandemic, with the exception of the first track. A celebration of holding on to life and of technology keeping people together, the theme of this project is fun and making good out of bad situations, with a melding of soundtrack synthesizer glamour and diy lofi songwriting ethics.
